When you reach the fifth main story quest in Dying Light called “Siblings” (and you get assigned the step “Sneak close to a Bolter during the night and get a tissue sample”) you come in contact with a new type of enemy. They are called Bolters. Bolters only appear at night and have these green growths on their backs.

Me and my friend was playing some co-op when we were to chase down and kill a Bolter. During this mission we encountered two bugs, one

My approach to killing them (I do it rarely though) is to slow whenever I spot the icon, align my car in a straight line to the bolter, slam the acceleration pedal and use nitro when you are about to enter the circle around it. Go to the Gas Station(Safehouse) which is situated near the Bolter spawning area and sleep there. Now, you wake up right next to the bolter. You have 2 options to kill them. 1.

Bolter Hunting is an achievement in Dying Light. It is worth 25 points and can be received for: Catch 5 Bolters
